Soakwells are a requirement in Perth. By law in WA, homeowners must have soakwells installed to dispose of all their rainwater, and stormwater. With this in mind, we install the best possible products available, and also offer a 10 year warranty, to give all our customers peace of mind.

All suburbs vary in their makeup and geographical detail, as a result soakwell requirements differ from suburb to suburb, where two 1500 x 1200 concrete soakwells will more than suffice in well draining sandy suburbs, this will not be the case in suburbs, where a proliferation of limestone or clay is present, as drainage will be dramatically reduced. Added to these facts the majority of Shires stipulate you have to install soakwells that will cope with a ‘1 in 20 year storm event’ What this translates to is, although your soakwells will suffice 364 days a year, and will adequately drain, on a day when we are hit with a huge storm with torrential rains, your soakwells may not cope with that event, this could then lead to them overflowing and causing flooding. For this reason we allow an additional 15% capacity to cope with any such weather event.
Not every job can be completed using concrete soakwells, for example occasional sites we work on have very little side access to the rear of a property, and dont have enough room at the front to locate concrete soakwells, in these rare cases we use Reln hexagonal reinforced upvc soakwells, these are fitted with a geofabric matting, to ensure not a single grain of sand can enter the soakwell, once underground, the matting does however allow the water to flow out freely, from the soakwell. These soakwells are assembled on site, so we can use them on properties with very limited access.

*As we do the entire installation ourselves, we are able to beat any quote you will have received from your home builder. Many of these companies actually subcontract the soakwell work to companies such as ourselves, as it is such a big job, Once they have done this they will then obviously add their own percentage on top, and pass on that cost to the house buyer. This makes us very confident that we can beat any such quote by at least 10%*
